Cas Blog 2 (9-25-19) (Creative)

Over the last two weeks, I've continued to work on some of my models, and I've also been working out a bit as well. For my painting, I was thinking that if I'm able to complete more miniatures as the year goes by, I might be able to go to ISAS with them. I think it would be good for me to do this because I could get some critique on my art, and also display it, which is something that I've always wanted to do. I think this is a good example of Learning Outcome 4, because I am committing to this project, and will hopefully be able to go to ISAS if everything turns out well. For my working out, I haven't been able to work out as much as I was over the summer now that school has started, but I've been working as much as I can. If I can't go to the gym, then I will try to go to a track by my house and run some laps around it. I think this is also a good example of learning outcome 4, because I am committing to keep myself healthy through my physical activity.

First CAS Blog (9-11-19)

The first week of doing CAS stuff went pretty well for me, and I feel like I was able to accomplish some stuff creatively. Over the last few months I have been painting some models of sci-fi soldiers, and I've been spending a lot of time on them. This one that a finished over the week took me around eight to nine hours of work. I had a lot of fun painting this model, but it was also pretty challenging. The most difficult parts were painting all the little details that stood out of the black base, because I had to use a very small brush and a magnifying glass to get all of them. Along with that, this models was only around an inch tall, and I painted each part of the model separately, so it was a ton of fine detail work. All in all though, I think I did a pretty good job with it, and I like how it turned out. Learning Outcome 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in a fieldwork experience
